This Privacy Policy explains how QR Panda ("we", "our", or "us") handles your information when you use our mobile application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Information We Collect

Information stored locally on your device:

• QR codes you scan (content and timestamp)
• QR codes you generate (content, type, and settings)
• Your color preferences for QR code generation

Information collected automatically:

• Basic app usage data and crash reports (via Firebase)
• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Anonymous analytics to help us improve the app

We do NOT collect:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identity
• Photos or images from your camera or gallery (images are processed on-device and never uploaded)
• Your location
• Contacts or any other sensitive device data

2. Camera and Photo Library

The App requests access to your camera to scan QR codes in real time, and to your photo library to scan QR codes from saved images.

Camera and gallery images are processed entirely on your device. No images are transmitted to our servers or any third party. We do not store, save, or have access to any photos or camera footage beyond the moment of scanning.

3. Local Storage

Your scan and generation history is saved locally on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it using the Share feature, in which case you control what is shared and with whom.

You can delete your history at any time from within the App. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data.

4. Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google LLC)
Used for crash reporting and anonymous analytics to help us identify and fix issues in the App. Firebase may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising
The free version of the App may display ads served by third-party advertising networks. These networks may use cookies or device identifiers to serve relevant ads. Purchasing the "Remove Ads" upgrade disables all third-party advertising in the App.

5. In-App Purchases

The App offers a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. All transactions are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Purchase records are managed by the respective platform in accordance with their privacy policies.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Data Security

Since your QR history is stored only on your device, its security depends on your device's own security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device software up to date.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
